Who in the World Needs Wire Rope?

A better question might be: Who doesn’t need wire rope? Invented in Germany in the late 19th century, wire rope is an incredibly strong and reliable cable that’s used for just about heavy lifting task under the sun. From construction cranes to tow trucks, wire rope moves objects from point A to Point B. Wire rope, in essence, is what supports America’s suspension bridges, and it’s used to raise a ship’s sails or tow a barge down a river. So, when you come right down to it, who in the world doesn’t need wire rope?
