Something About Wire Rope: A brief Introduction into the Matter starts by look at the anatomy of a wire rope and what each construction distinct. That serves as a base to explain the different ways that wire rope can be damaged, how different ropes cope with the different damage types and application specific problems which occur.
Something About Wire Rope has something for everyone, from the novice to the experienced end user.
ABOUT THE TRAINER:
Justin Brown is the North American product manager for Python® High Performance Wire Rope. Over the years, Justin has gained rich experience with wire rope, cranes, and failure analysis. He has given wire rope training seminars to various industry trade organizations, local regulators as well as the employees and distributors of Python® Wire Rope in North America. Justin is a graduate of Memorial University and a member of MTS (Marine Technology Society), ASME, AWRF and OIPEEC (International Organization for the Study of the Endurance of Rope).
Justin lives in Toronto, Canada and when he is not dissecting wire rope he is usually dissecting his golf swing.
